A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MAMIE LYNN
The idea for Mamie Lynn formed on New Years Eve 2011 when two friends, Allie and Tina, realized that had a similar dream…to bring awareness and raise money to support a cause we were extremely passionate about. It just made sense to us to do what we love, and use that to fight what we hate: injustice and human trafficking.
Mamie Lynn consists of three parts: Mamie Lynn Blog (thanks for stopping by!), Mamie Lynn Boutique and Mamie Lynn Bakery. Through the blog, we hope to inspire you with the things that inspire us and make life all the more stylish, yummy, and charming 
Through the boutique and bakery, we have the privilege of selling handmade goods we love to make, while donating 15% of all our profits to The Samaritan Women, an organization striving to end human trafficking.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ALLIE
Hello! I’m Allie (middle name, Mamie), a 22 year old girl currently residing just outside of Baltimore, MD. I’m a designer, blogger (not only here, but over at Apparel Affection and Fernweh, too), singer, songwriter, nanny, recent psychology degree grad, and anti-human trafficking activist. I love styling, fashion, anything retro and vintage, music, art, creative minds, good conversations over a cup of coffee, owls + foxes (no matter how trendy they become), Autumn, Superman, arguments on Superman’s superiority over Batman (yeah, I said it), Smallville (…always in our hearts </3), Arrested Development, and Mad Men (duh!).
And, because I think music brings people together I’d also like to share some of the musicians + bands that I’m currently favoriting: Youth Lagoon, Washed Out, Future Islands, Sucre, Two Door Cinema Club, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Little Dragon, and M83 (to name a few…).
I do my best to live a creatively inspired, spontaneous life and loathe the mundane. I couldn’t be more excited to share with you bits and pieces of my life, my designs, and the things that personally inspire me and will hopefully inspire you, too!

Hey there! I’m Tina, the Lynn half of Mamie Lynn. I’m a former wedding planner, with a knack for organization and a fascination for all that is food…cooking, eating, restauranting, you name it! I’m learning as I go, and I hope that you will join me as I experiment with this passion of mine. I’m REALLY excited!
I’m newly married to the most amazing man, notoriously known as, Maffa! He loves and supports me more than I ever knew was possible, and is also an extremely willing taste tester We live in a little, tiny apartment right outside of Baltimore, with a little, tiny kitchen. But I love it and it often makes for EVEN more interesting cooking endeavors.

Some other things that bring an immediate smile to my face are…the love of Christ, the wonderful people I’m surrounded by, coffee, music and dancing, a good book, day trip adventures to different cities and places, pinterest, the best tv show ever – Friends! and all that is summer: sunshine, flip flips, the beach, sundresses with pockets, ice cream, iced coffee (yes, coffee made the list twice) and so on…
I really am blessed beyond explanation, as well as thankful and delighted to be living this beautiful adventure.
